Corey is a very sweet kid.  He is thoughtful, helpful, and has a wonderful sense of humor.  Corey also has a tremendous love for animals.  His favorite tv channel is animal planet.  Corey knows how to use good manners when he wants to.  I hope that someone will take on the challenge of Corey for long term.  He is lovable, though it will take someone with lots of patience and understanding for all he has been through.  It will take time.  We have seen improvement since he has lived with us.

Corey loves to be outside.  He likes riding bikes, and playing with the neighborhood kids.  He loves to help cook dinner and often helps me in the kitchen.  He likes doing things for other people.  He has deep feelings for his birth siblings and in my opinion, needs to maintain contact with them.  We see one of his brothers, who is already adopted, about every other week.  He talks with his younger brother, about once a month.  For now  he has no contact with his oldest brother. 

 

Corey says he wants to go to Australia when he is older to visit Crocodile Hunter.  I have told him I don't see why he can't do that.  I encourage him to do well in school, so he can do that one day.
