"People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives. Do good anyway. If you are successful, you may win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway. People who really want help may attack you if you help them. Help them anyway. Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt. Give the world your best anyway." -   --  Mother Teresa

We have had a data base driven website donated to us and the transfer of the site has been started. It will not be hard to learn and you do not have to have web building skills to fix it. Please call me and we can discuss passwords and entry.

Why we need you:

Every time a volunteer is recruited and trained, new community members are introduced to the issues of adoption and foster care, thus building a constituency of people who understand and care about these problems. Each volunteer gets to know families first hand, and consequently cares more about the problem because people care much more about people than about statistics.

What we need:

We need creative, loving people who know how to create big things!

We will need to have people who will be responsible for fundraising, moving the portraits and finding places to place them.

We are looking for grant writers and letter writers, graphic artists, phone callers, e-mailers and printers. No skill is too small!

Fresh ideas and helpful recommendations will be appreciated. We are volunteers because we love children and want to help. We are light-hearted and warm people who would like to work with the same type of people.

Special thanks to

Wolf Prints in Longview and Ahle Printing in Longview for your generous nature and loving hearts!
