New Mexico did some abstract art and ABC used an ESPN photographer and he got some real action shots. We are looking for anything off the wall creative. (Visit out "other galleries" section of the website- the first two are reflective of more of what we are looking for.) Dress up is too easy- unless you have an artistic twist on it. We are working towards something that is unique and flattering. We believe this will make the gallery very popular, which will introduce more people to the need.

The East Texas Heart Gallery will travel and visit every large city and some of the small ones. It is an excellent opportunity for artists to display their works. We will place the photos in the malls, movie theatres and in various art galleries between shows.

We want art. We want something abstract- something cute- something weird- something precious. The reason it went so well in New Mexico is that they really treated it like an art show and attracted such a diverse crowd. Additional media exposure is available with something "different". That is our goal. - We will get these kids a home in any way possible.

Students and teachers are requested to sign their class up for a "Graphic Shoot-out" where DFPS will bring a few children into the classroom and a photo of each child will be chosen to go on display at the Traveling Heart Gallery. (TJC has already signed on!)

Our traveling gallery will begin in April- National Child Abuse Awareness Month
