TEXAS RESIDENTS with approved home studies: Inside Texas and have a home study? Call the person who licensed you and tell them about the child on our site or you may visit the link on the child's page and fill out an inquiry form. If you are getting nowhere- it is a bit more complicated, but: You are welcome to call any of the private agencies to the right if you are willing to do whatever it takes to get a child in your home whether you have a home study or not. You will have to take additional classes, acquire another home study and transfer your file to the private agency should you decide to go this route. Outside of Texas and don't have a home study: Please visit www.adoptuskids.org and they will get you started. 888-200-4005 Outside of Texas with approved home study: If you are outside Texas and have a homestudy please go to the child's page you are interested in and click on the link to get more information- when you are there you may fill out an inquiry form and someone will e-mail you back with details about the child within 3 days. There will be a place you can check to say that you have an approved homestudy and this will make the process smoother.
